Meet the Expetec Team

Vicki Shepard

Co-Founder

Vicki believes small businesses need the same expertise and IT skills available to them as enterprise level organizations have with their internal technology departments. She created the company based on the philosophy of a team approach to serve that need. She founded Beacon Group in 1995 and Expetec as part of Beacon Group in 2005. Working for a Michigan regional bank and one of the largest automotive companies gave her valuable experience in project management, which she uses every day. Vicki received her B.S. in Education from Bowling Green State University. Her community involvement includes being a member of a non-profit IT committee for 8 years and serving on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit nature center for 21 years as well as teaching classes and giving workshops at several area universities and community colleges.
